EPISODES 22 - 27

Wild Minute, Episode 22 kicks off our Baja expedition.
A long 5.5-hour drive from the San José del Cabo airport led us across desert roads, small towns, and endless Baja landscapes until we reached Puerto San Carlos. Tomorrow, the real adventure begins.

Wild Minute Episode 23 kicks off our first day on the water in Baja.
Flat calm seas, blue skies, and baitballs everywhere. Our final baitball exploded with action, sea lions, diving pelicans, and skipjacks all feeding on sardines right in front of us. An incredible start to the trip.

Wild Minute. Episode 24. Day two on the water gave us scattered baitballs, nothing epic, but still good.

Then the final baitball of the day changed everything. A Bryde’s whale moved in and repeatedly hunted and fed on the baitball right in front of us. A quiet day that ended in the best possible way.

Wild Minute Episode 25. Day three brought scattered baitballs and an orca report we couldn’t track down. After an hour of searching with no luck, we changed plans and headed to the sea lion colony. Dozens of playful juveniles swarmed us in the water, turning an average baitball day into a fun, unforgettable afternoon.

Wild Minute, Episode 26. Day four in Mag Bay was the best day of the trip. Static baitballs all morning gave us long, relaxed time in the water, and we finished the day with an incredible 30-minute session with Pacific white-sided dolphins. Easily the highlight of the week so far. What a day.

Wild Minute 27. Day 5, closes out our Mag Bay expedition and the 2025 season. Flat seas, lots of marlin, static baitballs, and a mahi-mahi joining the action made for the perfect final day.
