Uganda Primate Expedition Photo Trip Report 2023
June 22 - July 1, 2023

Uganda was too much fun for just one trip.

Mountain gorillas, Chimpanzees, Lions, Elephants Hippos.

We had some incredible wildlife experiences and shared so many amazing moments. But where do you start? It is so hard to try and describe this week in a few words for you all. Sadly the Wifi was really tough to upload anything, so I was not able to post daily reports from the trip.

There were so many highlights…

We had lions using the shade of our safari vehicle to hide from the sun, which was so damn cool.

We were right in the middle of a chimpanzee turf war.

A territorial hippo jaw popping and posturing for us repeatedly.

We had a family of gorillas resting with babies playing in a tree a mere few feet away from us.

Uganda is special place, the people are special, the wildlife is world class, and our friends who joined us made it magical. Like literally magical. Our friend K is a professional magician and he shared some magic with the locals that blew their minds. That was so much fun.
