Three Trips - #6, 7, and 8.
May 2023

MAGIC is all I can say about the amazing season we experienced off Baja this year.

We ran three trips to Baja in search of orcas and mobulas and whatever else we ran into while out in the ocean and what a great experience it was for everyone who joined us.

The primary goal of these trips is to find the orcas, which we did on two of the three trips. Sadly we did not get to see them on the third week, but that was ok. We spent four days with a super pod of sperm whales, which was super rare, and on day five we spent the entire day with baitballs, and had a brydes whale feed on it.

Talk about fire!

Sadly there was a lot of boats that wanted to swim with the orcas, and a lot of pressure was put on them, so of the three days that we encountered orcas, we only were in the water with them for one of the days.

The other two days we enjoyed watching them from the boat, and snapped topside images of them.

Which was also very cool, they played in our boat wake, and rode our bow. It was so much fun.

Over all our Baja trip was the stuff that dreams are made of, and I am excited to share this photo album of our adventure with you all.

The photo opportunities on these trips are endless.

It is not just about getting underwater and snapping images, it is also about bringing a topside camera and capturing the action. From porpoising dolphins to feeding sea birds.

The waters off Baja are full of life.
