TRIP ITINERARY

  • ARRIVAL DAY
You arrive at the San Jose del Cabo International airport (SJD), from there you can take a cab, or a bus to our host hotel in Cabo San Lucas for this expedition.

It is a 45 minute drive from the airport. We will meet at 7PM that evening in our hotel lobby to discuss the morning plans. After that we will head out together for dinner (if you are hungry), the rest of the evening is yours to relax and prep cameras for the morning session.

  • WATER DAYS - At 8am, we will depart from the dock and head out each morning to find mako and blue sharks to swim with.

Every day is different, some days we may find them quickly, other days it make take all day to find the sharks. We have found them as quickly as 20 minutes, other days it has taken more than 3 hours to find them. Patience is key when seeking out pelagic sharks.

You never know what the ocean will gift us with. If we encounter wildlife along the way to the shark diving sites, we will stop.

Baja is a great place for turtles, sea lions, mola molas and whale species of all kinds. Including humpbacks, grey whales, sperm whales, blue whales and the coveted orcas.

Out on the ocean there is always magic.

  • Day 6 - You return to the airport for your journey home.

  • This is a chummed shark expedition. We use chum and fish carcasses to attract the sharks.

We use the chum to send out an oily (fish) slick to entice the sharks to visit our boat.

After the sharks arrive, we will offer them pieces of fish to hopefully encourage the sharks to stay around, allowing us an opportunity to photograph them up close.

This is a snorkel / free diving trip in search of these sharks.

  • Please note that these expeditions involve wild animal encounters with a predatory species of shark, and while there is never any guarantee of sighting wildlife, we strategically plan our visits during the best times of the year for the greatest chances of success.

Every encounter is unique, and the duration is solely at the discretion of the animals.

It's essential to remember that pelagic sharks are predatory animals, they can be dangerous and we must show utmost respect towards wildlife.

We know there's never a certainty that we will see any animals on an expedition, but during our trips, we've had a remarkable track record.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR SAFETY AND THE WELL-BEING OF THE ANIMALS ARE OUR TOP PRIORITIES.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in preserving the beauty of the wildlife and their environment.
