We finished up our final trip of the SDM 2018 expedition season. We visited Tiger Beach for the winter tiger shark and great hammerhead season. December is when the great hammerhead season kicks off. We also had an amazing surprise with the return of Hook the tiger shark. She has been gone from tiger beach for almost two years, so we were thrilled when she showed up again. Hook is my oldest tiger shark friend and I have been working with her for over 10 years. I was extremely happy to see her and it was a great way to finish up the season.
