Eight days on the water with the sharks we’ve come to know and love, some for over 15 years.
This trip is raw, real, and unforgettable. You’ll be in the water with tiger sharks longer than anywhere else on earth. And if you’ve never seen a great hammerhead glide in out of the blue, you’re in for a moment you’ll never forget.
We limit this trip to just 12 guests.

SHARK FEEDING DIVES
Before the shark feeding dives, we conduct a safety briefing, guiding everyone on how and where to position themselves in the water for the most secure and enjoyable experience.
Safety is of paramount importance on these dives, and our experienced guides are well-versed in maintaining a controlled environment for both humans and sharks.
Our priority is to create a positive and responsible experience for both you and the sharks. We only bring down enough bait to offer the sharks a snack, which keeps their focus on the bait box. This ensures a controlled and safe encounter, allowing you to comfortably capture images while maintaining a respectful distance from the sharks.
We understand the importance of preserving the natural behaviors and habitats of the sharks, and our responsible approach to shark diving allows us to witness these amazing predators in their element while contributing to their conservation and protection.
TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
ARRIVAL DAY
The M/V Dolphin Dream is located at the Blue Heron Bridge Marina, Riviera Beach, Florida. You must be on board the ship before 6PM. Today we do the customs paper work, go through a boat briefing and get you settled into your rooms.
At 8PM the crew preps dinner for you. Departure time for the Bahamas is after 10 PM. We depart from Florida for an overnight run to the Bahamas.
Day 2
DIVE DAY ( 1 ) - We have two dives planned for this day.
We arrive at West End, Grand Bahamas sometime after 7AM to check in with customs. Once we clear customs, we will travel to Tiger Beach dive site (Fish Tales). After we arrive, (normally around 1PM) we gear up for our first dive. First dive is a check out dive (gear, cameras, weights). Second dive we will begin chumming for tigers and lemons. (No feeding dives today.)
Day 3 - 4
DIVE DAY ( 2-3 ) - We have 4 dives planned today.
Tiger Beach. The visibility will determine whether we start with a shark feed or a swim around.
The rest of the dives will be shark feeds. Depending on conditions, we may possibly do our first dusk / night dive today.
*Please Note; you are NOT required to do every dive.
Day 5
DIVE DAY ( 4 )- We have 4 dives planned today.
Tiger Beach. We will dive again at Fish Tales. Every dive will be a shark feed.
After dinner we will pull up our anchor and motor overnight to Bimini Island for the great hammerhead part of the trip.
*PLEASE NOTE: If we are fortunate enough to have great hammerheads hanging around at Tiger Beach, we'll focus our efforts there and forgo our trip to Bimini.
Day 6
DIVE DAY ( 5 ) - We have 3 dives planned today.
Bimini Island. Wake up and begin an early morning search for spotted dolphins. Once we find them we spend a couple hours swimming with them in the morning.
After we are done with the dolphins we will motor over to our great hammerhead spot and begin chumming. 3 Shark Dives planned today.
Day 7
DIVE DAY ( 6 ) - We have 3 dives planned today.
Bimini Island. Wake up and start chumming for hammerheads. We have two morning dives planned and one after lunch.
After our final dive we will start storing away gear to begin our journey home.
It is an overnight ride back to Florida.
Day 8
DEPARTURE DAY
We arrive in Florida, around 6AM. We have a US customs appointment at 9AM. After we clear customs, we will return to our marina at 9:30AM.
*If you are flying out of West Palm Beach International (PBI), you can make your return flights after 12 noon.
*If flying out of Miami International Airport (MIA), please make your return flights after 3pm.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

A non-refundable deposit of $800 USD is required to reserve a space on SDM adventures.
50% of the expedition cost (balance) is due 180 days prior to departure.
100% of the expedition cost (balance) is due 90 days prior to departure.
A 4% surcharge is applied to payments made via credit card.
A 3% paypal surcharge is applied to payments made using paypal.
Payments can also be made via wire transfer. Just let us know and we will send you the bank transfer info. Please add $40 to cover bank fees.

All cancellations made more than 120 days prior to departure will receive refund (less an administrative fee of $800 USD per person). This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if we manage to fill the trip after you cancel, we will apply the deposit towards any of our trips that you sign up for, during the following 12 months. If you cancel again during that period, you will lose the deposit.
Cancellations made (91 to 120), calendar days prior to departure, are assessed a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire trip price, (including extensions).
Cancellations made within 90 days of departure date will not be refunded, therefore we strongly recommend all guest purchase travel insurance.
All cancellations must be made in writing by mail or by email to sdm@sharkdivermag.com, - received and acknowledged by SDM Adventures.
We are not responsible for cancellations due to medical or other reasons.
No fees will be refunded if you withdraw after an expedition begins.
We are not responsible for any fees associated with non-refundable air travel, we highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance.

LATE PAYMENT POLICY:
To keep trips running smoothly for all guests, we require timely payments according to the schedule provided. If a payment is not received by the agreed-upon due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and release the space to another guest without refund of previous payments. We will make every effort to communicate and send a reminder before doing so, but it’s important to stay on schedule to secure your spot.
